Does anyone know how to make jewelry with art clay silver?
I want to make broken china jewelry using art clay silver.
It's called "PMC," or precious metal clay. There are a number of websites out there where you can learn more about it. Also, depending on where you live, one can usually find a class in PMC.
PMC isn't cheap, so you might want to take a class before forging out on your own. This will also tell you (prior to a big investment) whether or not you like working in this medium. If it is for you, you'll want to purchase a small kiln (specifically for PMC), as well. Obviously, this will all represent a large investment.
I've not worked with PMC personally, though I'm dying to! My Mom and one of my sisters have both done PMC, and I've gotten some gorgeous pieces!
